Carcase and doors

45-degree joints and recessed fronts.

45-degree modules

In modules with a 45 degree joint, the sides are mitred against the top and the base panel, which produces finished modules with no need for an additional finishing top.

A 3 mm groove is formed along the mitred edge: it strengthens the corner and keeps it from feeling sharp.

On floor-standing elements and suspended bases the 45-degree joint is only used on the upper part.

Recessed doors, 20 mm thick

The doors of the storage units have a 14 mm perimeter rebate, so that the closed front shows a slim 6 mm edge.

All round, the front is reduced by 5 mm per side with respect to the carcase.

The fronts of drop-down elements are flush with the structure along the lower edge.

Drawers

Drawer box materials and runner systems.

Drawer box

The drawer box is made of 12 mm birch plywood stained light grey, with a 10 mm melamine bottom panel in a grey fabric effect.

The drawer is built on 4 sides with a screwed front, a solution that gives the element a longer life, as it is naturally subject to pulling forces and loads.

Runners

Drawers run on silent concealed runners with partial extension and soft-close, or on a push-to-open system.

Full-extension runners are available on request at extra cost.

Opening systems

Drop-down doors, hinged doors and push-pull.

Drop-down doors

Dedicated flat hinge. The adjustable stay gives the door a soft, damped opening.

Lift-up doors

Adjustable stay allowing a gradual, continuous opening up to the maximum opening point.

Hinged doors — hinges

Opening on hinges with a straight mounting plate, adjustable in height, width and depth.

Push-pull

Push-to-open piston fitted to the side panel (to the top or base panel on drop-down doors), which opens the door with a light push. The door carries a magnetic plate that prevents the piston from releasing accidentally. For correct operation we recommend a clearance of 3 to 5 mm between door and carcase.

Wall units with iron frame

Dismountable modular elements, vertical or horizontal.

Iron frame

The modular elements with iron frame are built from 20 × 20 mm iron tube, in waxed iron finish or matt lacquer / Metal.

These elements can be fully dismantled and completed with the various components — base panel, top panel, shelves — and they can be installed either vertically or horizontally.

3D active boiserie and TV stand

Thick slats on a wall upright and a swivel TV stand.

3D active boiserie

The patented 3D boiserie is made of slats that can be installed horizontally or vertically, 2 cm thick, in widths of 9.6 / 12.8 / 16 / 19.2 / 22.4 / 25.6 / 28.8 / 32 and in variable lengths, fixed to the wall upright through milled aluminium brackets with 3 positions (55, 60 and 65 mm).

Rack Flag Connect TV stand

The swivel Rack Flag Connect TV stand is height-adjustable through the two wing nuts placed at its sides.

With a horizontal 3D boiserie the TV stand is secured to the vertical upright through two recesses in the reference slats; in the vertical layout it is fixed directly to the wall with spacers, through two holes in the reference slat.
